l estate agents waste their time and money pitching too broadly. Most people don’t want your service. That is the sad truth you must realize about marketing and it really doesn’t matter what you are marketing. That is why you must target your audience. As a new real estate agent, you more than likely do not have the funds to wage a large- scale marketing campaign. Focus on expired listings, or apartments or a specific neighborhood. Remember, it easier to kill a fly with a newspaper, than with a hammer.

Becoming Impatient & Fail to Test
You must be committed. Commit your time and money intelligently and patiently. Plant the seeds that will grow later. Your marketing message must be constantly reinforced or your prospect will forget about you. Remember that most marketing plans take at least 60 days. People must first trust your message and then they will trust you. Eventually they will become your clients. Do not splurge either. Mail out small campaigns and see what works and what doesn’t. Immediately abandon those that do not work. Tweak those that do to maximize your responses.
