Less than Truckload (LTL)

Also known as Less than Truck Load or LTL.

Shipments usually less than 10,000 lbs collected from a variety of shippers. Freight is typically picked up and delivered on a regular route with deliveries in the morning and pickups in the afternoon.

Pickups are brought back to a delivery or hub terminal where they are inspected, weighed and sorted for morning delivery the next day.
